After upgrading my site from v6.01.18 to v7.00.05 the 4 steps of upgrading were reported as successful and I got the site with this default theme and two warnings: to remove setup.php and to submit new admin password. So I did, but when trying the website:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare opensidex() inhost_address/vision-4-life/php_UK/includes/theme_functions_include.php on line 192

It is luckily not a commecial site, just my personal website, but nevertheless, either I want to get it fixed or otherwise switch back to v6.
Fist I rely on the experts on this forum !

Thanks for help.

I think you forgot to upload new file of theme_functions_include.php. Try uploading PHPFusion V7 theme_functions_include.php

What I did was the following:

1. From the php-v7-00-05/updatefromv6 directory I copied the upgrade.php file to the admin folder on the host.
2. I logged in at my site as administrator and went to admin panel where I clicked Upgrade
3. Had to click Next for three times and then message was "Database upgraded successfully"
4. Now I copied all files in the folder php-v7-00-05/files to the root on the host, overwriting the v6 files, where applicable (Of course made a backup first)
5. The result was that my php-fusion v7 website started using the default Gillette theme, with a welcome message, just like after installing php-fusion from scratch.
6. In the message I got the two warnings which I acknowlegded.
7. I clicked in the control panel main settings to select another V7 theme and clicked Home to start the website with that theme, which was end of story.

I have the idea that my Multipanel Navigation and possible other infusions give the problems. But since I cannot get in to the site to defuse these mods, I don't know how to fix the problem.

Who has good idea? With Kind Regards,

Delete all themes and infusions/mods which are not compatible with v7. It should be ok, if you delete first the files.

I guess that the theme which you selected causes the error.

I told you to delete all infusions and themes, which don't work with v7, and not all your files including your config.php....

You got a backup of your config.php?

Since I have a pretty much customized theme, and use quite some infusions, the upgrade means lots of rebuilding the site.
Yesterday I copied back the v6. filetree and quess what: my site works! It is version 6 with version 7 admin panel now... So a sort of hybrid situation. I decided to build a php-fusion 7 subdomain parallel with current website. Then copying the custome pages is not much work..
Installation from scratch worked well. However when I want to infuse version 7 infusions There are no infusion in the list. And in the admin panel the title of Tab "infusions" is striked-through indicating to be unavailable. If I can solve this I can add accordion navigation to replace multi-panel navigation, etc. Who has the clue on this?

Sounds like you've ended up with a bit of a mess. If your infusions drop down is empty it's because the admin panel doesn't detect any. I don't see how your site in it's present configuration is going to work successfully.
If you upgrade to v7 with one of the core themes first and get everything working. THEN try your own theme [converted for v7], some v6 infusions/mods will work in v7. But, most won't. However, most of them have by now been converted for v7.

Hello,

I even have looked into the database and compared with other php-fusion databases. Not yet found the problem. Since I did'nt have success with upgrading and I use several infusions that are not in v7 available in the default package I created a subdomain "php7_UK" where I uploaded the php-fusion-7-00-05/files content to. Then I created a brand new database and ran setup.php. So it was a setup from scratch.

You can see the result on www.vision-4-life.nl/php7_UK

And in the admin panel the result is as: http://www.vision-4-life.nl/php7_UK/i...fusion.JPG

Weird isn't it? Would it be wise to re-upload setup.php and rerun the installation? I already tried repairing the database and looked at the CMOD setting of files and folders. Nothing wrong with it.

And what exactly is now wrong with your admin panel?
Looks like everything works in this picture like it is supposed to work.

If you want to install any new infusion, you need to go to System-Admin => Install Infusions

When you look at the picture, you see that the tab title "Infusion" is strike-through. Of course I tried to fix it by infusing one of the v7 infusions that came with the php v7 Core dir tree. But the list of infusions to infuse is empty!! And I deleted all infusions on the host first and then re-uploaded the v7 infusions. But it all didn't solve the problem. I wonder if re-running setup.php will help. Or maybe during install something went wrong.

There are no infusions in v7 Core.

About which infusions are you talking?

When I download php-fusion-7-00-05 I find the following infusions in directory php-fusion-7-00-05\files\infusions

css_navigation_panel
forum_threads_list_panel
forum_threads_panel
latest_articles_panel
member_poll_panel
online_users_panel
shoutbox_panel
user_info_panel
welcome_message_panel

None of these are seen in the list. Also after adding the v7 infusion "accordion_navigation" to the list, I don't see it.

Those "infusions" are not real infusions. They are just panels.
And because of the fact, that they are panels, they also don't have a administration page.
You can find the panels in "System Admin" => "Panels".
