I really would like to plead to our case here.
Over the years many international domains connected to PHPFusion have been taken by domain re-sellers. .com is one example. They ask between 3000 - 6000 USD to get it back in the organization. It is by no means anything against douwe_yntema but if he should get tired of the domain it would just go the same route and be out of our reach forever. I think that is sad and that the international domains really should point to this site.

If nothing else, the New Main site based on 9 is almost completed and we are about to launch a 9.1 right after that, a lot have been tuned during the development of this. Perhaps the New Main will contain some inspiration for future sites. 9 based Themes will start to come right after this aswell.

I agree with Falk here, since I actually bought the .net domain for about 100 Euros a few years ago. I could probably sell it for twice that amount.

Douwe, you were first and I shall give it to you, upon the condition that you do not let it slip away from the PHPFusion Community and give Falk, or his successor, the chance to get it after you, should that moment arise...

Of course I agree with the condition to keep the domain name in the php-fusion Community. If I don't need it anymore, php-fusion can get the domain name back from me.

Personally, I would just have it point here. But my dream domain is php-fusion.com. I am very angry that they won´t sell it for a fair price.
If we could get that .com domain I would consider making it primary over time.

I have the php-fusion.website domain... just plan on using it as a PHPFusion 9 demo site.. Maybe it could be useful for something officially. :|

I am maybe a little bit old fashion, but I have seen too many PHPFusion sites gone away. These sites full of downloads, themes, addons, forum posts etc. For me V9 comes too early. Currently I am working on a Dutch translation for it, but having problems to get it installed, problems with themes, etc. Specialy the fact that there is no working upgrade script V7-V9 should be a no-go for release. In my opinon the release of V9 was too early. I Think the feature list was too long thus resulting in an long development time to get a stable release. During the development stage I saw many times a nearly finished part of the site completely rewritten and overhauled, which causes the development even take more time. So we ending up with a released V9, but the main site still working under V7.

With php-fusion.net I would like to extend the lifetime of PHP-fusion V7. And maybe when time is ready switch to V9 as well.

For php-fusion.com it's a shame people are doing this. I had such experience in my personal life too.

Homdax, Mij registrar says there is too little contact information available for the transaction. You need to fill in the Billing Contact at your registrar. After that the transaction can be started.
Please let me know if you have done, so I can contact my registrar to start the transfer of the domain.

My registrar does not own the domain, it is your registrar that is the bottleneck. My registrar has no influence on it.

It may of course differ, but

I give you the code,
you register the domain and tell your domain registrar you are transferring it,
thus you enter the given transfer code.
I get verification links that I approve.
