Hi,
I have now had 4 users reporting, that images in the Photo Albums are displayed as empty boxes with the small red X in them.

We have isolated the problem to be with Norton Antivirus' Firewall. Once the firewall is turned off on the users machine, pictures are displayed fine.

I wondered, if any of you have come across this issue before - and if there is a fix for it, as most users are hesitant to turn off the firewall. I can see no clear reason for the firewall to interpret plain jpg-pictures stored in a database as a threat, but it does :(

Any clues and ideas appreciated...

Kind regards

Peter in Denmark

It's either a port problem or NAF is blocking the PHP script that handles the images. Add it to the allowed files list or set NAF to learning mode.

OK, point taken - but WHY does the Firewall consider it illegal???

And am I the only one who's users are having problems with the Norton firewall and Photo Albums?

Site is www.silkeborgbrand.com, if you wish to have a try with YOUR firewall :o
