Upload of more than 1 picture at a time

First of all, I'm new, so be gentle
When I'll upload images to my photoalbum, is it only possible to upload 1 image, at a time. Isn't it possible to upload them all, at a time? It's quite borring to upload 500 pics, one by one.
My second question is: My digital camera, automatic names the images, as any other camera. But when I try to upload, there is no problem with the first image, called: P1010001 (Custom), but when I then tries to upload image 2, called: P1010002 (Custom), then I get this error: "Error, the imagename is already in use." Why? The image name is not in use!

if you dont assign a name (title) to every picture the first is named "nothing" and then when you add a second "nothing" it is alredy taken... :p
