Newsletter Infusion Bug

Hi, Im getting an odd error in the newsletter infusion.
essentially when I attempt to save a newsletter I get the following error
Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
although the screen says the newsletter was saved, however when I check the database there are no records in the newsletters table, and no newsletter is available in the list
Im still using version 6.00.206 however the infusion says its compatible with version 204 upwards.
Any help with this would be most welcome

did you try to mod the newsletter system or did you have a earlier vesion of the newsletter system installed before?

It was the latest version of the newsletter infusion, Id not used it before, I actually tried defusing and infusing again, same problem, In the end I found an earlier version (1.40) on the PHPFusion Mods site, which works. But figure its best to sort out the infusion incase there's a general problem with it, it could just be an isolated case, but I didn't mod it and was using it fresh out of the box so to speak.

Well there we go, a mistake in the newsletter insert, I've fixed it now, works fine :D

I have downloaded the newsletter infusion for ver 204+ from the downloads area on this site and still get "Column count doesn't match value count at row 1", when trying to save newsletter. I have defused and re-infused to no joy
Help please :(

Digi, yes I did. I Downloaded the infusion from the downloads on this site. Defused the current one. Renamed the current newsletter infusion folder. Uploaded the one from here, Infused, made a panel to subscribe.
Made a nws letter test, tried to save an got the error described. I also get an erro that sendmail failed because its not set up right. Need help on the sendmail as well.
Now, interesting thing, I defused the newer version, and infused the earlier version, The newsletters saves buti still cannot send..
If you want to PM or email I will give you the login to the test site

Its fixed. I have the newsletter v1.4 infused and that solved the problem of not being able to save newsletters i.e no more
"Column count doesn't match value count at row 1".
(If you think I should update to v1.6 pls let me know)
After reading the foruns about phpMailer I found an article about changing the SMTPAuth to "True", in the sendmail_include, or smtp_include, did this, (can't remember which one I'm so excited) and viola, newsletter send without error :D:D:D

In the old version you make that teh admin can subscribe the users to the newsletter list....in the 2. version ( 1.6) its not possible!
Why not...how can i make this possible becouse i delete all my members from the mailing list....
please help!
