I recently switched from the simple editor for news and articles to the more advanced tinyMCE.
What I noticed is that tinyMCE does not have a button that enables/disables automatic line break input like in the old editor.
The result is that I have to insert manually <br> after each line to keep my text correctly formatted.
How do I enable automatic line breaks in tinyMCE?

You shouldn't have to insert and line breaks with tinyMCE. It is a rich text type editor that edits the HTML source for you and will insert all breaks for you when you enter into a new line.
