I'm trying to add some new users from admin (Add New User)

But the user name will not be accepted:

Quote

User name contains invalid characters.

The user name could be: Father Chrismas

So, what I'm trying to use is:
First name
Last name

Before upgrading to 9.10.11 it was possible ...

How to solve?

Username can be also used in SEO urls and @tags doesn't works with such a usernames... Existing users can use their current usernames but maybe I'll add script that replace spaces with _ and problem will be completely fixed. There are user fields where you can put your full name.

"now it's finally fixed" This means that the problem is fixed and no one can use spaces anymore and I'm not gonna revert this change. Btw. it was fixed in 9.10.00.

Here you have more reasons why this is silly idea https://ux.stackexchange.com/question...-usernames

PHPFusion was previously developed to be as simple as possible but previous developers did not think of such things. There are still some horrible things from old versions that need to be fixed.
