One of the users of the PHP-Fusion 8 site cannot upload files to news post. There is an error message: Unable to connect to backend HTTP. error 0. On the same site, I am able to upload files without any problems.
This can be caused by various things. You may be connecting to the web via https, but you have disabled https in your main settings. Also you can have something badly configured on server or this can happen if you have so many images. Sometimes it have problem to load file manager if there are thousands of images in folder.

Brave is Chrome based, Do you have any extensions installed? Are you sure the MIME is correct on the .jpg image?, could be MIME glitch as well. E.g, it is named .jpg but is in reality a .png etc..
I don't think you understand the problem. With the suggested Fix the mime check is updated. The mime check will take place AFTER the file is uploaded. The error message appears BEFORE the upload. It appears when you click the photo button on the file selector, see image in attachment. So in that case no file is uploaded then.
(Sorry, got an error message when adding attachment, so no attachment) (I don't know how to attach image in this forum)
I only found one error while uploading. Everything works fine. If you know where the problem is and know how to fix it, you can send a pull request on Github.
Debug option give no result, this is the error in the debug window of Chrome:
Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://www.mysite.com/includes/elFinder/php/connector.php?aid=7cce111433eb6237' from origin 'https://mysite.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
With Firefox, no message is presented in the debug area and everything works fine.
