This is not a problem in theme. I tried it on your site and it works fine. Captcha is loaded after page load with javascript, so maybe it's problem with internet connectivity or something with your browser.

Also this captcha is not our product it's this open-source project https://github.com/dapphp/securimage. According to this comment, captcha is no longer maintained by the author. We only have it for compatibility and for some people who don't trust Google...

I recommend using Google reCaptcha. reCaptcha is better because a securimage is easier for robots to solve.

If you have knowledge of PHP, you can easily add your own captcha.

I need to improve logged in members cannot see this and therefore cannot write to us about that contact form
this is also on google reCaptcha. so

I tried it again on your site and it still works fine. Captcha is loaded after page load with javascript, so maybe it's problem with internet connectivity or something with your browser.

If you have problem with sending emails, you need to add SMTP in Misc settings. Some web hosts require you to use SMTP instead of the php mail() function.
