We will. But not now, we're busy making a new foundation for the project at this moment. You can see new Fusion Social in the screen capture.
We have it, we can't publish yet or it is not ready.

I have seen your post in https://www.php-fusion.co.uk/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=39001&pid=204255#post_204255, maybe this is what you're looking for. A wall system. You can simply run a wall system using comments like I did in the screenshot, or wait until we fully develop the system. Fusion Social will be a large scale development for sure.

P.s: Don't bother about the ID profile bio description, some parts is not true at all :)

@RobiNN Yes. I'm building the basic blocks model and researching the best expedient format. I have the basic SQL types for
- friends
- friends of friends
- mutual friends
- follow / unfollow
- comments Jquery for wall

These are built. From there, we can check permissions on user_id vs user_id to check whether they are friends vs privacy (visibility of items) on a new constant iFRIENDS

These are all new concept sketches, and I already achieved them and showing to Falk soon.

On Fusion Social, the profile template is heavily modded. It also comes into Groups where we can liberate group creation to the public. Each group subsequently can have its group page and modules. You see, all these are repetition of what our core already have.

Just this morning, I chat with Jock on Skype, and I did told him that we can include this not as separate Fusion Social Infusion bundle, but one shot release it into PHP Fusion Major version if it's possible.

Unlike other CMS, we have Groups/Users/Profile page ready. They just need a boost to push new features in. So yes, maybe we'll see what's coming soon.

@Rudios

No need for V10. That is still a plan in draft.

PHP Fusion observes a Major and a Minor Version releases. For a compiled batch of bug fixes, we do a Minor Version always. I.e. 9.03.xx, 9.04.xx

- In Minor Version Releases, it's up to Falk to pack it up to SourceForge on a certain state on Github when he choose to do so.

The minor releases do not need any sort of upgrade in SQL. Minor releases always contain bugfixes, and patches for optimization and code improvements. All we do is just patch files, and thats it.

- In Major Version Release, such as 9.03, there could be potential SQL upgrade. Here, I can always push Fusion Social in. So if we decide to do it together, it will be most likely on 9.04.

Let me wrap things up first. It will take a while
