Does anyone know how to use php code in this infusion? Apparently I can only use HTML.
I need two banners to rotate in one ad-position and I have a php code that controls the rotation

I am new to PHP Fusions and trying it on a testing environment.
Have just uploaded Advertising Manager and infused from the Admin Panel. The fist thing I have got is the error message "bright3_fusi716.fus_advertising_manager' doesn't exist " seems to referring to a database table in my server, but I do not see such table in the database.

Pls give some guide to resolve the problem. My Php fusion installation is version 7.02.07 and the data base is MySQL Version 5.5.45

Thanks for any help!

Hi, and welcome and read this : https://www.php-fusion.co.uk/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=31997
If you read the sticky post in the forum you found you would have seen it as well.
Please note that your post was also moved to the correct support thread since you put it in a general category as if one were missing for the addon.

Hi Domi,

I have removed the original installation of Advertising Manager [ by removing all the relevant folders and files from the infusions and also completely removing the database ] Then I installed it all again ( uploaded all the files once again from a ftp client and infused again from the admin panel) After that I tried to create a new test advertisement , initially I got the same original error of "database_name_advertising_manager' doesn't exist "

At this point I followed the advise of the existing forums and I did edit infusion.php (changed "Type=MyISAM" to "ENGINE=MyISAM" ) and tried to create a new test add. Noted that the previous error ( "database_name_advertising_manager' doesn't exist ") was already gone. But unfortunately I am not able to locate my test add after been published.
For example, I have created a test article under articles sections and chosen to publish the test add location as "above articles" , but I can't see the advertisement as expected; also there is no any error message output.

Pls let me know how to locate and trouble shoot the problem.

Thank You!

One thing as I could find in the posts above is that you need to replace Replace " with ' ( double quotes with single quotes ) that might do the trick.

But my test add was just a simple text string ( " Hello World" ) , without the ". I also tried using HTML tags (<h1>Hello World </h1> ) in case.
Non of those did work. Whats the hidden trick? Pls help!

I don´t know, personally do not use and I never have used that thing, a lot of people have done and probably still do.
It can be a range of reasons to why it does not work as it is quite old and have not been maintained, I think it would be more simple for you to add Ads manually if they are important for now. Ps, It will most likely not work on PHPFusion 9 if you are trying the beta there.
