It's finally summer and many many are on holiday, however this summer I will be spending 18 days from now of finishing the next version of PHPFusion, v7.01. I used this first day to get my gear up and going and relocated where I will be programming inside my house for a change.

The goal is to finish PHPFusion v7.01 before the rest of my summer holiday begins about 18th of July when my girlfriend comes back from her vacation which will be nice and I am really looking forward to it. Well, I can do a lot in 18 days home alone that's for sure... if I just remember to eat ;)

Anyway, I just made a really quick graphic for the upcoming PHPFusion v7.01, I am not a designer and it surely could be improved I just liked the web 2.0 look at it, you can judge by yourself here (hopefully the graphics team are able to finish it up if we would like to use it):

I'll use this thread to keep a short log of what I am doing and what I will be doing also my blog at http://dev.starefossen.com will be used more often and the site upgraded to v7.01 so people can see the work in action.

Please feel free to comment or ask your questions for 18 days :)

So nice to see what all professional developers work on Macintosh :)!
Can you open a secret, which program you use to write PHPFusion?
BTW & FTW!

EDIT:
If your to-do list will become empty before end of the time, I can always suggest you tons of the ideas for PHPFusion.

I use Coda, it's a very nice editor which supports all the different file formats and coding standards such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and more!

Yes, maybe.. but proper bug / security testing and localisation / translation will take this time too but development will end in not long time and first BETA might be around the corner ;)

Working on the new user management, it is totally awesome!

Some key features:
[ulist=disc]More Suspension Types
Suspension Log
Suspension Reason
New Navigation[/ulist]

There are still a bit much work left on it but I think it will be fully finished in a couple of days. I'll see if I can get a live demo up soon when I get the time, or if anyone else would that would be very much appreciated. Latest files will be submitted to the SVN. I uploaded a screen for everyone to see.
