Is there anyway to add custom user fields? It allows you to choose MSN messenger, Yahoo Messenger etc.

Anyway I can edit those to change one of them to Xfire Messenger? Can someone tell me what I would page I would need to edit?

And is there anyway to edit the forum ranks? Like custom ranks that you can apply to individual users?

Look at this folder:
\php-files\includes\user_fields\

Maybe you see the structure how to create new fields ;)

Look into the folder includes\user_fields\

To create a new user field you will have to code two files similar to those you find there:

user_xxx_include.php
user_xxx_include_var.php

Pick a set of the stock ones that are closest to the new field type you wish to add and make a copy of the files renaming them for the new field type.

Edit the code in the file set you created.

Finally enable the new user field type in User Admin, User Fields.
