So the release is today. The following is a statement from the Mozilla blog:
We’re just over 12 hours until the start of the long-awaited Download Day! Our Guinness World Record attempt will start when Firefox 3 is officially launched at approximately 10:00 a.m. PDT (17:00 UTC) on Tuesday, June 17th. [ -posted at 21:09, June 16th, 2008
Release is scheduled for:
1:00 p.m. Eastern Time

11:00 a.m. Mountain

eee actually s4nder, if brand new opera come out, you can post here topic like whys one: "Opera out today!!!!", but since this time Firefox came out :P

Yep, 8 million downloads, and as the link says, 17,000 downloads per minute. I got FF 3 as well, and I'm not regretting it.

I just downloaded FireFox 3 and i was using before .
in installation proces says : Set As Default Browser , its ok it was default .
but in MSN 8.1 when i open inbox its open in IE how can i do to open in FIREFOX , but if can not to download plugins for msn !!

Microsoft doesn't like people who turn their back from Internet Explorer and they use all kind of tricks to stay in front on certain areas.
Go to your Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs and click the Set Program Access and Defaults button from the left bar of the window that just opened on your screen.
Now click the Custom bar and tick on Mozilla Firefox, then OK. Try your MSN now.

i do this but its the same even though i SIGN OUT and SIGN IN again
im going to restart computer maybe works
