Should I wait?

Hey guys, i'm new to PHPFusion and I saw that v7 should becoming out sometime soon. I was wondering if it is work it for me to try to setup v6 and get the feel for it before v7 comes out. Basically, are v6 and v7 going to be vastly different?
For example, between phpBB v2 and phpBB v3 there is a BIG difference in everything from the admin panel to how to actual forums are shown, and templates made. If the change were to be this drastic I think it would be counter productive to try to get a feel for v6.
So, should I wait, or should I go ahead and start working with v6?

Iinstall V6, then just use an upgrade pack.

My main problem is that I don't want to become so familiar with v6, only to have to do back flips to relearn the admin controls and such,

So, what i'm getting from this, is that there wont be that big of a change from v6 to v7?
The main thing that I would be familiarizing myself with would be the creation on templates. Any news if these will be virtually the same? I haven't read too deep into the change logs myself so I am not 100% sure of the differences.

According to the change log V7 will have an entirely new theme engine....so...i guess they wont be.

Alright, I'll wait for a while, I see that they put up the help boards for v7, I hope this means that BETA is drawing near, hopefully sometime this week :D.

You should really wait, it isn't much left on the tasks for v7, just some bug fixes! It will be here soon!

I also hope it wont mean that. Hopefully there will be an upgrade script for themes.

Quick question, I am planning on making around 10 themes for v7, how hard will it be to do this? For example, will there be tutorials made? or something along those lines? or will there some sort of applicaton made for this.
