Hi,
I published a new version of the guestbook infusion :)

Features:

- Three-Way Spam Protection:
+ Captcha
+ Spam Word List
+ Flood Control
- guestbook can be moderated
- admin can add a comment/response
- administration with a lot of settings
- very secure
- W3C valid
- Simple Update-and Import-System
- every spam attack will be logged
- notification to the admin via PM or E-Mail
- bbcodes, smileys and color codes
- about 16 language packs

When unpacking that package with winRAR, it says

The new version of the Guestbook for PHPFusion v6 and PHPFusion v7 is almost ready to download!

I only need the new locale files. Please help us and translate the loacale files ;)

You are only speaking about the entry from May 22 2008 10:33:21?

@Xessive: Yes, if the function fsockopen() is disabled, then the Update-Check does not work, but the Guestbook still works. So it is no problem ;)

fsockopen() is used for the update checks.

Looks good right now.
I do get an 'error' saying: "The function fsockopen on your webserver is not activated!"
This is on my hosted domain... can't see if this inhibits teh working of the guestbook.
Can you explain why this function is used in the Guestbook..??

Well.. the website is back online you can see it for yourself now and maybe for the mail adres is it a option to work good whith that you can setup the level who may to see the mail adresses.

I fixed bugs for v7.
But I can't reproduce the bugs you reported.
I will wait until your website is online again.

In administration settings it is possible to dissable the must to enter a email-adreess.
And email-adresses are also encrypted (for spam-bots).

So is this really neccessary?

bugs:
- v6: bug in page the is not good visible see: http://tester6.lidelf.nl
- v6: interface when there are more messages not stright

maybe a option possible that normal users not seen the email adres from other users.

Known bugs:
- v7: footer in administration of guestbook is not shown
- v7: admin right "GB" for the infusion is not used in guest_book.php

Things will be fixed in beta2..

This is last beta version.
Take a look at it and feel free to write down every bug/notice/suggestions.

But remember, I wrote it 3 weeks ago and don't really know if is now compatible with v6 and v7, but I hope so...

Ok thx lelebart,
it will be changed in next version.

Guestbook 4.06 will be compatible with PHPFusion 6.01 and 7.0.
I only have to look if there are any bugs or things, which are not compatible yet ;)
