Having hard-coded widths definitely makes things harder, anyway to achieve what you want open rgs1.css change .resp-grid { width: 960px; } then also adjust .resp-grid .col11 { width: 640px; }

I use 1200 Grid System for this but no changes for nav and footer..

Tried 2 responsive themes so far, changing standard themes doesn't pose trouble, these 2 Omni and dev_blog_responsive
give error like this :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_to_footer() in /public/sites/www....../themes/dev_blog_responsive/includes/functions.php on line 115

for omni name ofc is different for rest its the same, have not much knowledge in php.

See this post https://www.php-fusion.co.uk/forum/vi...d_id=32679

and install theme control panel when you are in original theme.

After installation of theme control panel, switch to responsive theme

noticed with number of responsive themes theme_control_panel was not included or didn't show up in infusions, found one that did, will try from page you linked.
If I understand you right I shouldn't just change in my profile but set responsive theme as default on site (i'm webmaster for them) will try that too.. hope orginal non responsive themes still can be chosen?

For both my SMF and Wordpress sites it was lot easier, resp. a mod and standard theme but on WP "special" responsive themes also gave fatal errors (on 2 different paid providers)

on sidenote over 98% of my vistors still are on pc (2 million visitors last year) smartphone just 0.35% so why should I bother?

Hmm I Had forgotten the option of change theme in your profile.
I tested on webrain.nl, set responsive as default and in my profile original theme.
I works like a charm!
Also the opposite works: Set origial theme as default and responsive in my profile.

Thumbs up for PHPFusion!

did the last phos as default and changed it to responsive in my profile then these errors appeared.
(btw checked all orginal themes if they produced any errors, they didn't)

don't know if i can change settings somewhat in panel in/ infusions, if not (it just helps responsive themes) i have no clue whats wrong with it.

perhaps another infusion? have random pic- pictureflow gallery - guest tracking-ticket system in it?

Its production site, so can't just remove those infusions, i'm webmaster for it, but its not my site.

Like I stated ALL standard themes other then this and omni (didn't test any other responsive) have no problem with the mods, so its a problem of the themes.
I expect like in SMF or WP from a good responsive theme it works, and like i see here in first posts, I don't have to recode it to certain widths... SMF./WP work without on all devices/browsers I've tested.
