From what version do you upgrade?
What is your PHP Version?
You could also have a corrupt upload, Can always try to download pack again and re-upload all files.

Problem solved. I uploaded the latest update and it's all except for a few shortcomings when I click on web links / categories so this will pop up. Do I have a full database?

V9 has install.php and he didn't run install.php

Well, in overall, he did not update the page correctly, and this is the result. This happens when people do not read the documentation or readme. We have articles on how to upgrade v9 or how to upgrade from v7 / v8 to v9.

I hope that auto-updates will resolve these issues with updates.

I do it exactly according to the instructions like this

Quote

The upgrade will be in two steps

You need to follow these instructions precisely.

Step 1

1 · You must first upload all PHPFusion 9 files. Replace all files when requested.
2 · Navigate to your site's www.site.com and add /install.php like, www.site.com/install.php
The installer will now start and auto-detect your PHPFusion version.
Do your base upgrade in English.
Step 2

1 · Approve our License Agreements.
2 · Folder Diagnostics, make sure all the listed folders have the correct rights.
3 · Database Settings, all should be pre-filled. We recommend PDO as driver if it exists.
4 · Admin and Site Details, complete all the fields and create a new Super admin account.
5 · Configure Core Systems, Click on the upgrade button for each Infusion you have.
6 · Assuming that you followed the above procedure you can now remove all old PHPFusion files except images, infusions folders, config.php and the new .htaccess file.
Your site should now be fully upgraded and ready to run PHPFusion 9.

In order to further optimize your site you can enter the System Administration > Infusions and defuse the Infusions that are of no use to you.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask for help in our Support Forums.

Problem is: when upgrading V8-->V9: V8 has setup.php, V9 has install.php. If you upload all the files from V9 over V8, the original V8 setup.php is still there. If you then run setup.php, you install V8 in stead of V9. Maybe a solution would be to include an setup.php with V9, whit a message to instruct to run setup.php.

setup.php I don't have it deleted there. I'll upload all the 9.3.100 files from the files folder to ftp and I'll overwrite everything.
then type url domain / install.php

You have old, non compatible v9 Infusions left in your infusions folder throwing these errors.
Same goes for /includes/user_fields & /includes/search folder , if you have old v7/v8 user fields & search modules they can prompt for errors.
