I am quite new to PHP coding environment. I need some guidance regarding restricting someone from accessing particular web pages in my web site. Only authorized person could have the accessibility rights. Thank you.

If it is PHPFusion related you need to use the User Group function to control access areas or search for the Restricted Addon n the AddonDB.

In my opinion try use md5() function to make your login safe and secure.

Syntax as follows
$password="123456";
md5($password);

Use md5(); to encrypts password and it works.
