I can't upload images. Either submitted images, or from the Add News Image when adding news, they never show up.

How should i chmod? I hace done it several times. Maybe I am doing wrong?

I do it through FileZilla. I right click on the folder and then go to File Attributes and type in 0777 and everythings gets checked.

I dont see an option on my host to do this.

Ohh, I thought maybe they need to be a certain exact size.

No, they're pretty small pics. Less than 50kb. Also no crazy symbols

hello buddy,

i no this topic is under a year old but i thought i would add my answer aswell

now i ran into the same problem with CHMOD when i used filzilla, so i went into the cpanel of the hosting and used file manager on there and right clicked the fodler that i want CHMOD and did the rights for it,

sometimes Fillazilla doesnt have the access rights to the CHMOD command on the hosting it may appear its 777 on fillazilla but its the default like 000 on the hosting for example..
and hope that helps
and in case that fails,
contact your hosting and and include in the email what folders youw ant changed of CHMOD wise and they will do that for u ;)
