Unfortunately I remember this being an issue in the past. Upgrade, this was addressed in later versions.

I can try to look into this. I'll need to get a copy of this version, upload to my server, then I can probe into this problem. If anyone else can shed light in the mean time, I'm sure Maailmameister will be greatful.

Maailmameister, I've installed v7.01.00 and created a few test forums of which I've set the access to Administrators. However I've been unable to duplicate what you've described.

There has been issues in the past regarding viewthread.php. Although from what I've found, this was more of a problem with v6. Maybe you can elaborate on what exactly you mean. I am simply copying the link from my browser while logged in, then logging out and pasting. When I do, I'm redirected to the forum index page.

I'd hate for this to be the issue but did you by any chance download my awards infusion from a thread and then overwrite your viewthread.php with a another one provided to show images in the forum? :D

If that's the case you need to upload the 7.01.00 forum files and then code the awards... there were directions in the readme so people could do it themselves in case theirs was previously edited.

---- It has nothing to do with the infusion except I believe I did it prior to 7.01.00 but who knows.. ----

Before anything I'd backup viewthread.php and try replacing it with the one from 7.01.00 - If it works as it should then I'd say the one from the awards infusion is from an older version of the file...

if that's the issue I can always get the file and mod it for you but lets make sure first...

Super Admin

If you do not upgrade you can get far worse issues than this in the future.
I have a small "how to" from your version that seems to work well.
There are not that many differences that would affect addons in these versions, But ofc you can never be 100% sure they all will work after an upgrade.
