On the home page, the forum threads panel shows that posts have been made in forums. However when you click the thread to read, it is not showing the latest posts.
Because I can't see it on my page at all? I'm using google chrome browser, but have viewed it again in firefox and it's showing up now. I'll remove it and see what that does
Thank you I have, and I found the thread. It seems that it is definitely only viewable in firefox.
Can this be the cause of my original problem however as it is only visible in firefox??
I ask as I don't really want to search through all the files and edit them as I am intending to move to v7 shortly. I just wanted to try and fix the forum issue? Do we think this could be causing it?
v6.01.13 is an old version with known security issues. If you look at your source code you'll see there's a bunch of weird recipe links embedded in the page. Also, you're missing code from subheader.php at the top of your page. Check it to see if there's anything that should not be there.
thanks hobbyman - as I said we're in the process of moving everything over to v7, but it's just taking a while since it's such a big site with a huge member base.
However - I've now found the recipe codes part which I'll fix tonight when I get in from work, and then we'll accelerate the upgrade process and get on to v7
It is recommended you upgrade to 6.01.19 before upgrading to V7. Also, you should make sure all spam/hacks are found and neutralised before proceeding.
wow! That's even more than yesterday! Jeezo - and it looks like it's in a panel or two this time!!
As for the upgrade hobbyman - I'm doing a fresh install - moving all the files and the database over (well that's the plan anyway) to a fresh install of v7.
