hi guys,
i am new to this cms...
after downloading the latest version of the cms (php-fusion_7-00-07.zip) from website i tried to install it on WAMP 2.0i Apache 2.2.11,PHP 5.3.0,MySQL 5.1.36,Phpmyadmin.
1. after extracting files i placed them in my c:\wamp\www\ folder
2.i renamed _config.php file to config.php
3. run the setup.php succesfully

but problem came when i was on last step of setup after pressing FINISH button my browser gave me error while trying to open news.php page:

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Please help
thanx.

If you got as far as the last stage, then wampserver is obviously set up ok.

Did you try a different browser?

Did you try to restart everything (by left click on the mini icon?)?

I had same problem, used an earlier version of the WAMP. Don't quite remember which one, since I recently had to format my HDD, but search on their forums, I remember finding the answer as to which version to use by doing so.

try to use older version of wampserver. Or, if you still want to use wampserver 2.0i, try to type in your URL browser, 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost. Many of wampserver users said that this method worked.

Hi,
I am using wampserver 2.0i. I want to transfer a site running on phpfusion 6.00x to a new host. I downloaded the files and the database and tried installing on local pc. I finished all steps of installation and on clicking next in the last step, I got the same error :
connection was reset
typing 127.0.0.1 didn't work too.
