Hello there.
I have tried searching this fora for help regarding my problem but cant seem to find any solutions so now I'll ask and hope you can help me.
My problem lies in the access area to forum threads.
it is working fine for me to have set access to allow members to write and read in the different forum sections on my site.
And when i have set access to members there is no problem regarding admin rights in the sections. Apparently it seams that when you give acces to members it takes in to consideration that the ranks above that ofc. have the same access.

So here is my actual problem:
When i try to set the settings so that Guests on the hp can see the threads and read em but have to log in to comment in them people can see the threads when not logged in but when they log in they can no longer see the threads..
And when i try to set it so that both guests and members are places in the right window (under the access administration) it removes member from that list when saved...
So how do i make it so Guests can see the threads and read in them but have to be logged in to comment in them?

Hope you understand my problem and can help me find a solution to it.
I am running PhP-Fusion the latest version btw.

Best regards
Caligo

As far as I can see, you have the forums set for member only access.

This is the standard setup...

Lotro.dk is a custom group made momentarily because we had a problem with access to the Admin fora on the page for the other admins.

So how do i get it to look like yours if that is the solution? :)

Isn't that for adding/removing moderator groups? I don't think you are in the same section as HobbyMan is talking about.

Well what you can see is where i create the forum topics and when you have created them you edit them and ad the restriction rooles.
So am i wrong in doing it this way?
And if so what way would be the correct way?

And thanks for taking the time to help me. :)
