V7 - no hurry !

Bored that I am, waiting for my wife to call me for dinner, I thought I would share my thoughts about the widely spread demand for "v7 now".

Personally I have no hurry.
I feel very confident with Digitanium who appears to have total imunity to all these demands, because he want to take the time it takes to make a stable, reliable and good looking v7.

This takes time! Nothing would be easier than throwing loads of alpha versions for the crowd to test, then having endless discussions about flaws and errors.
I am not saying this because I know anything at all about v7, but because a new version of any piece of software needs thorough testing before it is relased. V7 is no exception I am sure.

As long as subversions of 6.01 come out promply when there is a scurity issue, I can't really be bothered that v7 is not out yet.
I know when it comes, it will require a lot of work from me, upgrading my sites.
Honestly, I prefer to let Nick and his crew spend this time, by properly testing the product, and making good and usefull conversion tools and instructions for how to convert, maybe even manuals for infusion conversion etc.

So, take your time :) While you work I will take some time off, drink a few beers and have a good time with my family.
