Hi,

Just recently one of my members lost their password and used the request password here thing. He is saying that he isn't getting the email with a new password or a reminder or whatever it does. I tried it with a secondary and I'm not getting it either. Can you give me any ideas on what is causing this?

How do your users register? Do they get an activation e-mail or is the account created and people can login right away?
I could be that your host doesn't support sendmail..??

Check the PHP Info at System Admin and do a search on sendmail to see if there's anything specified like: sendmail_path /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i

Hi Xessive. I've set the registration thing so to instant registration. No activation email neccessary. I'll contact my host also to see if they can see why. I'll let you know if it's their end.

Ps. The 'contact me' email works, and I receive an email when I get a private message. So far as I'm aware it's only the registration one that's not working properly.

Ok, just to let you know. It was the SMTP thing. In Miscellaneous settings I've left that blank and it now works. Thanks.
