Functions not available in some Themes

I posted this on the Themes Forum as well, but not getting much feedback there.
Our site uses quite a few Themes to give the members variety, unfortunately, a couple of the Themes seemed bugged when trying to upload files.
I noticed in Purple-Nurple that any type of file upload doesn't work. You can get as far as selecting the file for upload, but once you click 'Open' it fails to appear in the filebox for the upload.
In Fusion3, everything works fine. Can someone point me where to look in Fusion3 so I can compare it to the other Themes to see if I can spot the problem?
