For personal site, you can just use PHPFusion as is and contribute your codes back to PHPFusion community here. You can use the software free as is, with footer, and agree to the AGPL clause taken effect on your site. You cannot modify the footer license text and leave it as is when you got them.

If you want to keep codes including any modification to yourself, you need a Copyright Removal License. With this, you can edit and remove the AGPL copyright footer, including PHPFusion link back. This situation usually apply to scripts demo site where the site owner is running some sort of custom development for other people. People who are into web designing might consider getting CRL.

And if you are doing any commercial activities with your site, acting as a commercial platform, like shopping site, paid subscriptions etc then you will need a Commercial Core License.

And if you are a coder, and wish to sell your code package and make money out of them, then you can use our Marketplace and set up a store and get EPAL to your package. The EPAL forbids anyone to redistribute your code package. When someone purchase a EPAL package, the user must change the site footer to EPAL footer provided that the site doesn't have CRL or CCL.

Any license purchase is considered donation to the project development and keep this project active.
