P.S. I honestly don't understand why a production site would undergo "live upgrades" for extended periods of time. It looks bad and it gets in the way of normal site usage.

It is what it is , an unfortunate mix of versions put us in the situation. I really should not have to say that it was not our ambition. All of it is well explained in the News sections about this. Closing the topic.
