I created a member profile on my forum (I downloaded Version 9), went to "edit profile", and when I enter the new password and "update", then log out. I can only log in with my old password. The forum is not recognizing the new password change.

Hi, after a few years I have returned to PHP Fusion, downloaded ver 9 and I was wonder how it looks and how it changed. However while editing user fields I have recieved fatal error. Moving on a week I have the same issue, no matter how many times I change the Admin Panel password it always get's rejected when logging in.

Checkrights issue, we might as well bump all values to always return true if superadmin. Answer to fix is in: https://github.com/PHPFusion/PHPFusion/commit/cb4baa7629fb443eb887e372ad5d1772b1dd1794

I fixed it. I wound up having to manually uninstall and reinstall before it would work correctly.

I used softalicious to install the latest in php-fusion and I only have four options in the Content Admin section. I don't know what's going on, but I cannot hope to proceed without all my options.

I need to change the email on this site. I will enter a new email In order to change your password or email address, you must enter your current password. I have to go to security I will write the password save profile email will not change

This usually happens when you upload a database backup but do not upload all tables. The temporary solution is to remove manually these fields from phpmyadmin. Open the Structure tab, and then Drop fields that are causing the problems [img]https://snipboard.io/XT2qd7.jpg[/img]
